Our mission is to create Hope, Opportunity and Choice, with work as the means through which people with disabilities and other barriers to employment can more fully participate in the mainstream of life.
Since 1969, we have changed the lives of thousands of individuals in the Denver community by providing employment training, assessment, coaching, placement, and job mentoring services. We believe that helping individuals gain self-sufficiency is foundational to the health of individuals, families, communities, and the economy of Colorado.
Founded by our Executive Director David Henninger, we currently operate a myriad of social impact programs and services all with the central goal of helping people obtain employment and achieve sustained self-sufficiency.
End The Cycle of Homelessness
Our services make Denver stronger because we are putting people with barriers to employment to work and helping to end the cycle of homelessness in our community.
In 2015, we served more than 1,200 individuals, which includes competitive job placement for more than 400 people with local employers as well as through Source America contracts. You can learn more about our accomplishments in our Annual Report.
Low Overhead & Operating Costs
The key to Bayaud Enterprises’ success has been the melding of business contracts with a supportive, professional staff dedicated to the organizational mission. Bayaud Enterprises has a financial philosophy to keep overhead and operating costs to a minimum, directing 90% of our income to our employment services.
Donations & Partnerships
In addition to our social enterprises and employment contracts, Bayaud depends on individual and corporate donors to fulfill our mission and expand our services. We also maintain mutually beneficial partnerships with many area businesses and organizations that benefit from our ability to provide them with a diverse workforce of trained employees.
Please consider donating, volunteering or attending a Bayaud Enterprise event and supporting our mission. Your participation makes a real difference to individuals who are working to become self-sufficient and to your Denver community.
