Executive Staff

David Henninger

Executive Director
David E. Henninger has worked in the nonprofit sector since 1973, as a co-founder and executive director of Bayaud Enterprises, Inc., which has been in operation since May of 1969 first as a program of the State of Colorado and then incorporated as a nonprofit organization in 1972. He obtained a Master’s Degree in Rehabilitation Administration from the School of Business at the University of San Francisco and pursued doctoral studies in public administration with an emphasis on nonprofit management at the University of Colorado/Denver. He has served as a Board member of numerous nonprofit organizations including: Mental Health Assoc. of Colo. (includes being Board Chair twice), The Legal Center (Serving People With Disabilities) (includes being Board Chair), Center for Nonprofit Excellence (includes being Board Chair), Colorado Association of Nonprofit Organizations (CANPO - now known as the Colorado Nonprofit Association) (includes being on the founding Board), and several others. For the past 19 plus years, Mr. Henninger has served as an affiliate faculty member in the Masters of Nonprofit Management Program at Regis University in Denver, Colorado. He has facilitated courses in History, Theory, and Future of Nonprofit Organizations; Governance of Nonprofits/Organizational Change; Leadership; and Critical Issues in Nonprofit Organizations. He has been a featured speaker at various association meetings and has received numerous honors and recognition as a passionate advocate for the nonprofit sector.

 


George Arguello

VP of Shredding
With over 40 years of management and production experience, Mr. Arguello was a Mine Foreman from 1978 to 1985. He started with Bayaud in 1987 as an enclave supervisor and had several supervisor and management positions, and carried a small caseload in the early 1990’s. George currently manages Bayaud’s Secure Document Shredding Services Department.

 


 

David Busenbark

Controller
Mr. Busenbark has served as Bayaud’s Controller since 1988. He earned his B.A. in Accounting from Metropolitan State College, Denver, Colorado, in 1981.

 


Dani Harris

Director of Navigation/Manager, Federal Contracts
Dani Harris joined Bayaud Enterprises in 2002. She currently serves as a Manager of Bayaud’s Federal Contracts. She also oversees the Benefit and Resource Navigation Department. Dani graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and a minor in Business from Metropolitan State University. She also completed her Master’s Degree in Nonprofit Management from Regis University.

Scott Kerr

Director of Employment & Opportunity Center
Mr. Kerr has been with Bayaud Enterprises since 2009.  Scott joined Bayaud Enterprises after completing graduate work at the Iliff School of Theology.  With his team, Scott strives to bring a holistic approach to ending the poverty cycle with individuals and families by providing comprehensive employment services, while also investing in leadership development opportunities for participants.

 




Laurie McCaw

VP, Marketing & Development
Ms. McCaw is a Colorado native and has worked in the nonprofit sector for more than 30 years beginning her career with Mile High United Way. Laurie is past president of Denver DOVIA (Directors of Volunteers in Agencies) and has managed both small and large volunteer programs. Most recently she was the founding Executive Director of the Denver Chapter of Rebuilding Together Metro Denver for ten years, and joined the team of Bayaud Enterprises in 2014. She holds a Master’s Degree in Human Resources Management from Chapman University, and recently received her certification as a professional life coach and has launched a small coaching practice. Laurie is a former adjunct faculty member of Regis University’s Masters of Nonprofit Program where she taught for five years.

 


 

Chris O’Connor

Director of Programs/Manager, Federal Contracts
Mr. O’Connor has worked at Bayaud Enterprises since 2005, and has over 20 years of experience in the Human Services environment. He also serves the Safety Coordinator for the organization, ensuring overall health and safety for Bayaud programs. Chris provides administrative oversight to several Federal Contracts, which provide supported employment to over 100 employees on a daily basis. He received a BA in Psychology from Colorado Mesa University, in Grand Junction, Colorado.

 


Sue Richardson

Ms. Richardson has been with Bayaud Enterprises since 1987 and is a Certified Vocational Evaluator. Sue holds a Master's degree in Education and Counseling from the University of Nebraska, Kearney. She serves as an active member of the Colorado State Rehabilitation Council.  Sue strives to maintain Bayaud’s focus on participant choice in all aspects of evaluation, work adjustment, career training, job placement and job retention services.
